Material Laboratories is an identity for a series of workshops and lectures taking place at the National Sculpture Factory in Cork, Ireland. Each workshop focuses on a specific material used in sculpture, such as glass, ceramics, metal and wood.

I created an overarching identity for the series of workshops, and also the identity for the first event of the series ‘Kiln it’, a workshop focusing on glass. The concept for the identity was to present the material for each workshop on its own, and to treat the images used for promotion of the event in a way that reflected the qualities of the particular material.
