TULLY SCHOOL is an extensive visual identity project for a new primary school in the Cherrywood area, including logo design, copy writing, stationery suite, brochure, promotional merchandise, promo campaign, desktop and mobile website design, and wayfinding for the school campus.
For this project, I was inspired by children’s adventure books like Tin Tin as they appeal to a wide variety of ages and have a timeless visual appeal.
I created a bespoke display typeface, Tully Display, for the school’s logo and identity. The typeface contrasts blocky and thin shapes to create a unique fun silhouette.
The project brief also called for an extensive suite of physical applications of the brand, ranging from large outdoor advertisements and promotional merchandise to digital applications on mobile and desktop.
The visual identity also extended to a wayfinding system. The signage shapes echo the typeface, as do the shapes used to create the icon suite.
